Werbig itself is surrounded by an extensive network of hiking and biking trails, including international trails such as the E11 and the R1.You will find extensive information material about this in our vacation apartment.
The restaurant “Zur Erholung” is well known for its Markish cuisine and tasty game dishes. In the neighboring village of Schmerwitz, the potter’s coffee is very popular.
The 1000-year-old Bad Belzig offers as an air and brine spa next to the old town a relaxing stay in the Steintherme with numerous pampering offers. In summer, the fun pool with its attractions is popular with young and old.
In Bad Belzig they also find numerous restaurants, shopping, a cinema, a cabaret stage and fitness studios. Also the castle Eisenhardt with museum is visited by our guests with pleasure
Excursion opportunities, arts and culture
Werbig was the geographical center of the former GDR. Many excursion destinations can therefore be reached in the same time, from Bad Belzig also by regional train. With the R7 they are in one hour in Berlin Mitte, in half the time in Potsdam-Rehbrücke and the Bauhaus city of Dessau. The treetop trail is also on the way.
The Plusbus takes them to the Fläming castles, Lehnin Monastery, Brandenburg and other destinations.
Only 10km away from Werbig is the picturesque village of Wiesenburg with its enchanting park, the Garden Kingdom of Wörlitz Park is also quickly reached.There are many other excursion options
